Introduction

This privacy policy describes the processing of the personal data you submit when you

apply to become an ambassador for Arla Foods amba’s (“Arla”) Feed Life™ campaign.

Your privacy is important to us. We handle your data professionally and in accordance

with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Rights Act

(“GDPR”).

Arla is the collective name for the companies that belong to the Arla Foods Group. The

Data controller in relation to your application is Arla Foods AB, company registration and

VAT is SE 55 675 944 0001 and registered postal address is PO BOX 4083, 16904 Solna,

Sweden.

Purpose of the ambassador application

If you choose to apply, Arla will use your data to evaluate if you are a suitable

ambassador for the Arla Feed Life™ campaign.

Registration is not a job application but an application for ambassadorship. If you are

one of the chosen ambassadors, a contract will be provided with the terms and

conditions, as well as a new privacy notice.

What personal data do we collect?

Arla collects and processes the following types of personal data about you:

• Name, age and contact details

• Region and city of your home

• Information about if you live with a guardian

• Social media account

• Personal preferences: i.e. food habits that you provide via questionnaire.

Please do not submit sensitive personal data (e.g., health, ethnicity, religion, political

opinions, trade union membership, sexual orientation, pregnancy). We ask that you

refrain from providing such information.

How do we use your data?

To assess your potential for the ambassadorship of Feed Life™ and, where appropriate,

invite you to further dialogue and interviews (GDPR art. 6 (1)(b)).

For statistics and process improvements in aggregated/de-identified form (GDPR art. 6

(1)(f)).

Who has access to your data?

Only authorized Arla team members relevant for the selection process of ambassadors,

Your data will not be shared with third parties outside Arla without your explicit consent.

We use trusted data processors, and processing occurs under data processing

agreements and with the same high data protection standards as otherwise used

internally in Arla. The data processors have to follow Arla’s instructions in connection

with the processing of your personal data.

Security and Retention

Data is transmitted via encrypted connections (https) and stored securely within the

EU/EEA or with equivalent safeguards.

We retain your data only as long as necessary for finding the ambassadors for Feed Life™

or until you withdraw from the application process or request deletion.

Your rights

During the entire process, you have the right to withdraw from the application process.

Subject to certain statutory exceptions, you have the following rights:

• The right to request access to the personal data we hold and process regarding

you.

• The right to request us to rectify any personal data on you that maybe incorrect.

• The right to request us to restrict the processing of your personal data.

• The right to request to receive any personal data on you that you provided to us in

a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, if our processing of

such personal data is based on your consent or a contract that you concluded

with us (data portability).

• The right to request us to erase personal data on you, unless we have a legal

basis for continuing the processing.
